You participated and we listened. A first draft of the Tacoma 2025 vision is being prepared for a series of community meetings on September 22, 24, and 29. More information is provided on the About page. We hope you will attend those events, but in the meantime tell us what you think right here.

A key focus for Tacoma 2025 is Economic Vibrancy and Employment. Based on input so far, we think the goal is:

“A vibrant and diverse economy with good jobs for Tacoma residents.”

To achieve this goal, Tacoma should:
1. Increase the number and quality of jobs in Tacoma
2. Improve economic opportunities in all communities and all business districts
3. Recruit, retain, and grow businesses
